Just another day in the ABQ
Oh, I've been gone a long time...
I really don't have time to do any of the things I used to enjoy... And I especially don't have time for such "frivoulous" things as blogging. So I'm making this a quick one... with pics...
1. I got tickets to go see Dave Koz (saxophonist) for my birthday. The place (casino) wasn't too great, but the music was AWESOME!
2. We made it out to the hot spring (Ojo Caliente) on R's 2nd weekend here. The weather went bad after only 4 hours in the pools, I ended up with a BAD sunburn, and I have a huge scar on my leg from our "little" hike.
3. This was the view from the "top" of the 1st trail (about 1 mile each way), looking down at the hot spring "resort." Altogether, it was a nice time, but camping in the rain and getting shorted on our time in the pools wasn't cool.
4. This was a waterfall that we hiked to (last summer we hiked to the TOP). It was a nice walk and the water was so cold!
5. We sat in front of this house for like 10 minutes waiting for the Roadrunner to pick up his head. Yes, that's a real-live roadrunner, as in "Beep-Beep!"
6. Um, yeah, here's R in a sombrero. He's doing okay. He just got me really mad, and my mom always told me "if you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all." So I'll leave it at that.
7. And, R again (that's my dad up there, too). He's making himself extremely popular with my family and neighbors! Fixing things, doing yardwork, and just being the "nice guy" we all know he can be (when he wants to--see comment #7).
Well, folks. That's all I have for you. I better go make R the danged cake so he'll quit being Mr. Grumpy Britches! Take care, and know that I miss you all so much (family, friends, and fellow bloggers)!!

Those scenery pictures look fake. Absolutely gorgeous!
R looks wonderful in the sombrero.
Miss you Lots. Tell that Grandson
of mine to behave himself!!!
Love You Both

Thanks for the update. :)
I have been dying to get down to Ojo Caliente- jealous!
it sure looks beyooootiful there!
It's hard to find time to do things you enjoy when your not use to working. I use to get more done working 8a-9p than I do working 8-5 plus weekends. Amazing how that works.
