Bacterial Source Tracking
What?!? Just in case anyone is interested: Here is a little about the work I do in my research.
My master's thesis is on Bacterial Source Tracking (BST) using Amplified Fragment Length Polymorphisms (AFLP). These will help you with the general idea. I started my master's program in January '05 and will graduate in December '06. I am in the College of Forest Resources at Mississippi State University. This is a great site for more information on DNA techniques. I actually have a class in about 30 minutes, so I have to leave it at that.
